On a grey and pretty miserable afternoon O's took a very youthful team for the first visit 
to South Fambridge, skipper Bob Marsh lost the toss and was put in the field in this 35 over 
contest. He unveiled probably the youngest attack in the clubs history, Louis Morgan, Manchanda, 
Ollie Marsh and Thirunagari who finished the best of the bunch with 2-27 all bowling exceptional 
spells, Marsh capping a great fielding display with a neat catch and a direct hit for a run out. 
A strong Fambridge batting line up was contained to a final score of 184-7, Abley 52 & Goose 50 
not out posting useful half centuries. In reply Mo Zaman yet again batted superbly to hold the 
innings together with a finely paced unbeaten 90 winning the game with 4 balls to spare, Skipper 
Marsh giving able support with 33 as his young team achieved victory by 6 wickets. Last game of 
the season at Cheshunt next week
