Match Report Date 20/05/12 Oppo – Woodford Green (h) Type – 40 Overs Report by A Penguin. Arctic conditions returned to Barkingside this Sunday as the O's continued their undefeated start to the season. Winning the toss, the O's fielded first and new lads Dan and Harry ripped through the Green line up wioth ease. Harry showing great control taking his first five for. Whilst Dan frightened the batters out with his Hulk impression and his odd shouts of ""use the bat pal". A slight rear guard from the lower order of Green saw them pass 50 but Hiscock and Hillier mopped up the tail, with Hillier feeling sorry for last weeks Chilean miners, who had spent so much time under ground, decided to not plug any balls this week and instead bowled full tosses every ball. After tea, the O's decided to knock off the runs as quick as they could to avoid the pendingsnow storm that was due by 7pm. Marsh got a pea roller early on, but a fine partnership between Williams and Tooth took the O's close to the finishing line, both being dismissed so they could get back inside before the blizzard hit and they had to dig out their snow shoes.Leaving it to Riches and Maddy to take the O's over the line with 7 wickets to spare.
