Report by Dave Revell

LOSCC playing their second conference game in a row, found a lively wicket at Upminster Park.
Deciding to bowl first, LOSCC started brightly with some good bowling from Lophites and Parkes.
However, some dogged batting from Upminster openers, Murphy and Hammonds snr saw them off to a good start.
But after receiving his usual first aid from his personal paramedics,
Lophites was replaced by Hillier who struck first taking the wicket of Murphy with an excellent catch from skipper Richardson,
who after catching run off to check his hair was OK.
Tooth then came on to bowl and found some extraordinary bounce from the pitch giving the Upminster batsmen batsman a torrid time.
Waghorn batted excellently for Upminster making 56 before edging walker to Mulholland at slip.
Upminsters innings closed on 244 - from their 40 overs.
Then came, according to Eddie, the tea of the year!
Followed by the O's innings. Openers James and Hughes got us off to a good start, before Jacj was stumped.
Eddie and Bob following shortly afterwards, it took a good partnership from Parkes and Mulholland to get back on track.
However, as soon as these two went, the game was over with the O's making 186-9 from their 40 overs.
A good game all round played in good spirit with the O's man of the match Eddie for his excellent bowling.
