The O's started their tour with a game against Wellow & Plaitford.
Ther first ball of the tour being bowled by Vince Mulholland and what a beauty it was.
Pitching 2 foot outside off stump and nipping back to bowl the Wellow opener.
Some further good bowling from the O's saw Wellow restricted to 179-9 from their 40 overs with a short rain delay.
After tea, the O's started with Evans and Redman and shortly Redman's middle stump was cartwheeling towards the keeper.
This brought in Revell who decided to leave a straight one first ball and saw his off stump heading in the same direction.
Vince Mulholland survived a big lbw appeal to see off the hat-trick and then the heavens opened and the game was abandoned as a draw.
The drinking then began with Nigel Costin smashing the half yard of ale drinking record.
The slow-off was this year between Champion Mike Redman (3 time holder!) and skipper Ian Richardson.
With Mike again taking the Honours after Ian decided to run half the race backwards.
