O's entertained the Chairman's XI at a sweltering QE2 fields on Sunday. Losing the toss O's found themselves in the burning 
sun and the Chairman's team got off to a flying start as Kumar fresh from his 275th scream up of the season the previous 
evening smashed the attack to all parts to post a very impressive 93 caught on the boundary by Revell off the bowling of 
Harry Potter. With the seniors wilting in the heat youngsters Oliver Marsh and Matthew Wicks had a bowl and showed great 
promise far better than their aging fathers.The Chairman's team finished on 218-4 a good score but maybe 20 short. In reply 
a fighting hundred by Bob Marsh who was frankly delirious in the latter stages of his inning due to the conditions brought 
the O's close but they fell short on 198-5 canny bowling by Meadows 2-25 halting the run chase at a vital time.
