On a really hot day at Thorley cricket club, L.O.S.C.C were playing Thorley.

Skipper Heed won the toss and elected to bat first and opened with Zaman (18) and Riches (115*) 
both where off to a slow but steady start until Mo was caught playing a shot to the leg side for
18. Coming in for Mo was B.Marsh (69*) and got a quick 50 with good shots and all together hitting 
9 4’s. Riches hit 21 4’s and getting a fantastic score of 115* and there were 19 wides 5 byes and 
4 no balls.

After Tea L.O.S.C.C went to field and opened with Ritzy (8-1-33-1) and C.Shah (8-0-30-3) for their 
first spell and Ritzy’s first of the season both bowled great line and got 4 wickets together. Then 
Hiller (6-0-42-2) returned to L.O.S.C.C after living in Barbados and for his first spell looked like 
he never went missing until his second spell bowling no balls to the 12 year old. Marsh.O came on at 
4th change bowling (8-0-38-2) bowled great line and picking to good wickets on the way. Gordon Graham 
came on at 5th change (4-0-32-0) was unlucky not to get a wicket but bowled great line and Mr Graham 
made a great catch showing Mr Zaman how to field (went under Mo’s legs). After captain Heed had used 
most of his bowlers he looked up to Marvel (1.1-0-9-2) got a big wicket from the man who got 76 and 
also the 12 year old.

P.S number 10 was not out and the 12 year old got 9 runs and got out to Marvel so don’t confused.
