Report by Dave Revell

A good spirited game played in very hot temperatures saw Epping Foresters bat first.
Alan Wicks struck first taking the wickets of father and son opening combination of French A and P.
Some good bowling from Richard Carter also saw a good start for the O's with the opposition limited for runs.
However, some good performances from Capewell, Day, Wilks, Ellis J and Farmer saw them reach a target of 186 All out.
Very good bowling performances were put in by Wicks, Carter and especially Adam Parkes.
Bowling at a brisk pace and getting plenty of inswing saw Adam take 4-25 from his 8 overs.
The batting started well with Redman and James adding 37 for the first wicket,
before Redman was bowled by Farmer who put in an excellent bowling performance taking 3-22.
The O's failed to build on this start and struggled to 67-2 off 20 overs and this left too much to do
for the later order batsmen especially after Bob was caught on the midwicket boundary for an excellent 80.
The O's coming up 10 runs short.
The O's man of the match was in my opinion shared between Adam,Bob and the pie & mash.
Afterwards Epping Foresters put on an excellent spread of Pie & Mash, Curry etc.
Thanks Epping Foresters.
